I think it is better to build a small collection of reliable products than to buy random cheap things. Nobody wants pretty shoes that hurt after ten minutes of walking. From my experience, communication with the store can tell you a lot. They are simply the ones that fit well and survive many rounds of washing or daily use. Some care only about style, others focus on comfort and durability. The same is true for metal versus acetate frames for glasses.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

Sometimes customer service can fix a bad experience, but not always. Online shopping will always have a bit of risk, but experience makes it easier. Metal can feel more premium, but acetate can be more comfortable for long wear. I recently tried a few different online shops and wanted to share my experience. If they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, I become suspicious.
Just sharing my personal feedback. |
